Artist Statment
Painting is a passion of mine…sometimes it's an obsession and sometimes it's pure meditation. It feeds my soul, my everlasting spirit, and nurtures my everyday life. To the eye of the beholder, it sets the communication of my visions. Appreciating the passion in the work, you as a patron, will share with this artist a moment in time together.”

Pamela Fong has been painting for 50+ years. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, where she gained her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from California State University, Sacramento. She studied for her Master of Fine Arts’ Degree from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and now resides in Thousand Oaks, California.

Her works have graced many public and private collections and she has won numerous awards throughout the country. Her paintings are contemporary and she uses bold brushstrokes, colorful patterns, in her often lively, even exuberant images.

Pamela has developed a method of blending Asian historical graphic subjects with abstract art, resulting in a style that is uniquely her own. Adding to this diversity, her latest paintings are with mixed media: incorporating textures, ink, rice paper, gold leaf, and acrylic paints on canvas or on paper.
